General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

First, congratulations for your newborn baby.

The numbness your wife is feeling on her legs are due to anesthesia used during C-section intervention.

There are some of my patients reported such numbness even 1 year after C-section.

It will be subsided by time. If it will get worse, should consult with a neurologist for further evaluations.

All the best!
Dr.Albana
