What Causes Numbness In Foot And Hand?

I have partial numbness in my left foot for over a year now. It is starting to slowly climb up my leg. Sometimes it is painful. I ve also noticed my right hand being partially numb sometimes when waking up. I had bloodwork and it s not diabetes. I had a procedure done where there put some kind of prod on my foot and up my leg that felt like being shocked. They could find anything wrong. Any ideas of what it could be?

Hello
Their are many condition where similar symptom are noticed.
i.e.
Diabetic nephropathy, Rheumatoid arthritis , Vitamin b12 Deficiency, Peripheral vascular disease, spinal injury or spinal tumor and many more.

This should be taken as serious condition and you require consultation with you physician.
You may also be require some investigation like MRI spine.
As you have mentioned in your query that it is climbing up in your leg so delay in treatment may lead to some serious damage.
Final diagnosis can be made only after the correlation with diagnostic finding and then treatment can be initiated.
You may also share the reports with us so that we can review and suggest you the next line of treatment.

Thanks
