What Causes Numbness, Dizziness And Intense Pain In The Calves?

my daughter is away at college and just called. This morning she started feeling nautious & dizzy, throughout the day she s unable to hold down food and has been vomiting. This evening, her achiness is turning into more intense pain, she is experiencing numbness in her calves. At first I thought it was flu, but the numbing in calves has me stumped. Should I send her into the ER? I m five hours away from her, so I m unable to see firsthand her symptoms

Hi,

It may due to viral illness that has caused generalized body ache and associated dizziness and tiredness. You can give her analgesics like Acetaminophen for symptomatic relief. Also ask her to take plenty of oral fluids to keep herself hydrated. If symptoms persist better to consult a physician and get evaluated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
