What Causes Numbness And Tingling Sensation On Face While Using Ciprofloxacin?
I was given ciprofloxacin and have been using it for the past 3 days. Yesterday i started having numbness, tingling in my face around nose area and a mild headache. Its not affecting me that much but its just an uncomfortable feeling. My review is in 2 days time. What should i do?
Understanding your concern. As per your query you symptoms of numbness and tingling sensation on face while using Ciprofloxacin which seems to be because of pressure on facial nerve and it could be due to dental infection.
Need not to worry about it. Visit neurologist once and get it examined to rule out nerve compression, neuralgia and neuropathy. If it is due to dental infection then consult dentist once and get it examined. Neurotropic medication methylcobalamin is effective to improve your symptoms. Go for physical therapy of facial muscles.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
