What Causes Numbness And Tingling Sensation In The Hands And Feet?
Ive been having many symptoms of Multiple Sclerosis, symptoms going back as far as 19. while having my children i didn t have as many symptoms. my symptoms began to really service back in 1998 and its been an on going progress. At that time I was seeing many doctors many doctors with no really DX. there end result they said it was fibromyalgia. 5 years ago I was being seen by a chiropractor. as he was working with me he notice a change in my movement of the spine. He said I didnt have Fibromyalgia but was showing symptoms of MS. I had a MRI and it showed 6 lesions 5 in frontal lobe and one in visual pathway. in the last 5 years my Symptoms have worsen. My legs are my biggest concern, they are weakening, walking up stairs I have to stop and rest before getting to the top and i notice im walking scuffing my feet and my right foot feel like it turns in. to give you a few more symptoms numbness and tingling in both hands feet hip tongue and face. after walking 15 minutes i walk into walls and tress. headaches, cognitive problems cant focus, thinking takes time , talking im chasing my words, forget easily. and so many more. I was seen by a neurologist a few months ago. He took another MRI, results 5-10 non specific lesions. he basically told me I was aging. that I was making up the symptoms.With the lesion visual pathway I had a change type headache. the left side of my head was heavy, stabbing pain, icy, the headache would cross to the right of head. until now when I touch that part of my head it feels icy and dull pain that travels through the left side of head. The Nuero. said it was an ice pick headache. that was unacceptable answer for me, i have ice pick headaches. this wasn t one. Im stuck as to know where to go from here. The doctor said i have 5-10 non specific lesion but really you have 5. the only thing he can do is offer me anti depressant. I refused. My question: when he says 5-10 non specific lesions but really 5. then what about the other 5? does it mean they are just beginning to surface? How much do I have to worry about these lesions and my increasing symptoms? I feel stuck...

Well, these are signs of certain neuropathic issues and this is most commonly seen in some metabolic disorders such as diabetes,of the most common causes of peripheral neuropathy, accounting for about 30% of cases. In diabetic neuropathy, tingling and other symptoms often first develop in both feet and go up the legs, followed by tingling and other symptoms that affect both hands and go up the arms.
