What Causes Numbness And Tingling Sensation In The Arms?

Hi. I have had numbness and tingling in my arm on and off for the past few days normally after eating and it goes on for a few hours after that. Together with indigestion, lots of burping, and little upper breast pain. If I eat a big meal or ice cream and stuff it always comes back up. I use to not have theses problems until my second semester in college.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Numbness and tingling sensation would be due to the irritation or compression of the nerve supplying to that area. In your case it could be cervical spondylitis along with gastritis. You need to have lighter and smaller meals. Have a Pepfiz or Pan-D once a day and a probiotic twice a day with meals. Also, exercises for cervical spondylitis would help. Vitamin B12 as supplement would also ease the symptoms.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
