Brief answer :
Temporary Arm nerve damage.

Detailed answer:
Hello. Ive gonne through your concerns.
Numbness on the arm may be a sign of the armn nerve pressure or damage? Do you recall if you had any trauma on your left arm recently? Do you often sleep on your left side, because your body weight may be causing pressure on your arm.

Its a little bit difficult to say that this sign is related to m.sclerosis at this point. But if you want to ryle out this possibility,i would suggest you to do a Head MRI which can me more spxific about that diagnosis.
Feel free to ask me any further question.
Best regards !
