What Causes Numb Earlobe With Tingling Sensations?

For about a week now, I ve had intermittent numbness and tingling throughout my left earlobe (I haven t decided if it continues down the ear canal, I don t think it does). It typically lasts about 30 to 90 seconds and occurs 1 - 4 times daily. I m a 33 y/o male smoker with no known health concerns. When I completed military service I was in very good shape. However, I gained over 60 pounds during my first 2.5 years as a civilian and to date have managed to loose 30 pounds over the past year. My current BMI is 30.9. I have been treated for a subluxation of T4/T5 and some misalignment from C4-C6, I was late in stage 2 DDD and had a 5 month treatment completed. It s been a year since I ve seen my chiropractor. My treatment is performed regularly at home using the foam roller and ice.
