What Causes Nose Bleeds And Cough Along With Dizziness In A Child?
My 12yr old got a fever after we drove for 2hrs on a hot day. Since she has had a dry cough, dizziness and no appetite. The doctor gave her claxy 625, fexidine 120 and tussidex forte. She has since started nose bleeding and the cough is still the same. Please advise.
Understanding your concern. As per your query your child have symptoms of nose bleeds and cough along with dizziness which is due to upper respiratory infection due to poor immunity of your body. Need not to worry. I would suggest you to apply mist humidifiers in room. You should take cough expectorants. You should do warm saline rinses 3-4 times a day. You should avoid cold carbonated beverages. You should take throat soothing agents. You should take combination of antibiotic Levofloxacin along with antihistamine such as Levocetirizine. You should visit ENT specialist once and get it examined. You should get chest x-ray done along with pulmonary function tests done so as to detect level of infection and treatment can be started accordingly.
Hope your concern has been resolved.

Best Wishes, Dr. Harry Maheshwari
