What Causes No Bleeding Despite Taking The Abortion Tablets?
hi doctor...i m 19f n i m nearly 3weeks pregnant..i m going through a medical abortion right now. i had mifepristone on 19th Mar at around 9 am..and 2tablets of misopristol on 20th mar at arnd 8pm... but nothing really happend except for a bit of a cramping.after 24 hrs i took 2more pills of miso but it has been 6hrs now, n seems like even it is not working for me...i got cramps for few hours but then even they vanished too...no signs of bleeding till yet..wat do u advice me to do?? should i wait ,or take 2more pills of it ?? please help me out i m really very tensed??

Abortion pill should be used always under guidance and directives of abortion. You can use more misoprostol to induce abortion. You can use 800 ug misoprostol every 6 hourly maximum up to 3 dose but it is used under observation of obstetrician.So please consult the obstetrician and take advice regarding extra use of misoprostol. If abortion is not induced, pregnancy should be terminated by surgery like D & C as it cause deformity in fetus.
Follow up after 7 days and usg at 14th shoud be done to confirm incomplete abortion for safe practice.
