What Causes Nausea And Tiredness While Using Artificial Aortic Valve And Pacemaker?
my wife - 85 years old gets nausea and feels overheated every once in while. Makes he feel week and tired. Episodes last a few minutes then pass. What do think it all means for her health. she does take BP medication and it keeps her BP normal. She also has an artificial aortic valve and a pace maker.
I have gone through your wife's medical history carefully and understood your concern.
Getting nausea and overheated once in while are suggestive of a possible inflammation/infection in her Gastrointestinal tract.
I'd advise to run further tests to determine the right cause: - abdominal ultrasound to rule out gallbladder problems - complete blood count and urine analysis to rule out infection - INR and platelets count to rule out blood coagulation issues - cardiac check up to determine the status of the artificial aortic valve as thrombosis and infection might appear and give the symptoms she is having.
So, I highly recommend to consult with her caring doctor and run the requested diagnostic tests.
All the best. Dr.Albana
