What Causes Nausea Along With Soreness And Pain In Throat?
My son jus left the Doctors office in a different town there where I live. He just turned 20 and has had night sweats and sore throat for a week. The Dr said he tested neg for strep but was doing a culture to see if it was something else. My son has sores on the back of his throat and says it is very painful. The Dr told him he was surprised he was doing as well as he was based on the looks of his throat. The Dr prescribed magic mouthwash for now. The culture is suppose to be back in 3 days. Can you tell us what this might be?

You have to wait for the results of the culture of the throat before saying what it can be. It can be candida or streptococcus infection and the treatment depends on the results of the culture.
