What Causes Nausea After Having Sex?

Hi I do not wish to use my real name but you can call me Monica. Well today my boyfriend came inside of me for the first time (which I had no idea he had done as well as he ) we withdraw from me to make sure no sperm had entered me. But I had already left his sperm on my inner thigh. Ofcure I was upset he had done so. But later this afternoon, about twenty to thirty mins after I began feeling nauseous ofcure at this time I was drinking a double chocolate chip starbucks drink. Also what I would like to mention is that I began my monthly discharge yesterday. Now my question is , is it possibble I feel pregnant so early? If not why am I feeling nauseous?

Hi,

Nausea after sex is seen in few women. Pregnancy cannot show signs so early and since you are having your periods since yesterday, there is no need to worry for pregnancy. It so happens that sex is controlled by autonomic nervous system. During and after sex, there can be stimulation of certain areas in your brain which lead to the feeling of nausea and discomfort. At times there can also be a psychological component causing this. It can also be due to exertion after sex which causes reactions which you have soon after doing strenuous physical exercise. Please take proper meals and adequate fluids before having sex.
