Hello,

You have been given treatment for acid reflux in form of Omeprazole group of the drug. It taken for two to four week. Go to sleep two hours after a meal. Avoid excess spicy foods. If no improvement, then other causes needs to be ruled out by x-ray or endoscopy. You have to consult a gastroenterologist for examination if no improvement with this medication.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
 Dr. Parth Goswami
