What Causes Muscle Pain In Shoulder Blade While Sneezing?

I sneezed a week ago and a muscle near my left shoulderblade (just below & close to spine....it is killling me. Like I pulled it really bad. When I exercise - play tennis - the pain seems to disappear. And when I relax afterwards the pain comes back. NSAIDS don t really seem to help much - heating pad does seem to help - but pain returns immediately after I stop. How best should I treat it? Thanks

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,
First of all stop doing exercises and playing as it is a severe muscle pull and your exercises are not letting the injured muscle fibres heal.
Take combination of NSAID like ibuprofen with muscle relaxant like chlorzoxazone three times a day for 5-7 days and apply local heat.
You should be all right soon.
Thanks
