What Causes Muscle Pain After Removal Of Melanomas?

Hi! I have had melanomas and the last was taken out just above the knee. I am 15 stone and 5ft 10inches tall, ie overweight. For the last 3 months I have had 3 times pain in muscles I believe between my knee and top of leg. Nothing shows on skin, but the areas, sweeping across legg and very tender to touch and have an ache and last a week. My other leg had a malignant melanoma 8 years ago which meant I had the nodes taken out in my groin and have odema at ankle, so I wear support stocking usually only on left affected leg. Should I see my doctor? Thanks Ruth ( YYYY@YYYY )
