Hi , my mother is having a weired problem . She has been complaining of mucous in her stool for quite some time . So witout any tests done , she was given antibiotics ( ciprofloxacin 500 g ) twice a day . She stops the medicine and it comes back again . Its been continuing for last 2 months . I am visiting her now and i wanted to see what mucous she is passing . So when i saw its not exactly mucous but more liquidy gel kind and colourless substance . She is highly constipated so whenever she goes to the toilet she passes this liquidy stuff only without any stool . There is no fever , no stomach cramps and no diarhea . I got her stool tested where it says vegetable cell present and pus cells 2-3. This is bothering her a lot . What is the problem do you think ..thanks .
