What Causes Mucus From Anus Instead Of Stools?

I have a clear white substance which comes out of my bottom side, it feels like I have to have a bowel movement, but when I go to the bathroom, only this liquid comes out and I feel like i am peeing out of my butt! Is this a serious thing?I had really bad gas and cramping earlier today.....but haven t been able to really have a bowel movement....just this annoying substance....

Hi thanks for asking question.
Constipation is related to mucus discage in stool . Here are few possibilities.
1.First thinking about common cause that is enteric bacterial infection can be cause.
Blood test and stool examination for pus cell is helpful.Antibiotic needed for it.
2.Second parasitic infection might be cause.stool can reveal parasite egg or trophozoites.blood may reveal eosinophilia.
Anthelmatic albendazole like drug given for it.
3.celiac disease or lactose intolerance may be the cause.Avoid gluten in diet ex.rye,wheat if celiac dz undersuspician.
Take lots of fruit.
Do regular exercise.drink more water.
Probiotics helpful.
Digestive enzymes helpful.

If still problem go for ultrasound examination or endoscopy examination for rule out other pathology like inflammatory bowel dz.
