What Causes Mood Swings And Memory Loss Post Partial Hysterectomy?

I am 55 yes old I have had a partial hysterectomy. I stay warm in winter months when others are cold. I must sleep one to two hours a day but often have trouble falling asleep. I find myself losing patience and getting annoyed easily at times. I sometimes struggle to describe or name something I used to do easily before. This has been going on for about 7 months. Am I in menopause? And if so, how long does it generally last?
