What Causes Missed Periods While Being On Nuvaring?

I am on the Nuvaring, and have missed my last 2 periods. I had 2 negative over the counter tests, and a negative blood test after the first missed period. I put a new ring in on Wednesday 11/5, took it out on 11/26 as scheduled, and have not gotten a period yet. I am due to put a new ring in on 12/3.

Hi,
If you have tested negative for pregnancy on repeated occasions, hormone imbalance should be suspected as the cause for the absence of the periods. You should get a trans-vaginal sonogram to check the status of the pelvic organs and also the endometrium. This may also be combined with a complete hormone profile. Once reported, appropriate management can be planned. Please maintain a healthy weight, regular exercise and a healthy diet. If necessary, you may need hormones to induce a period. Hope this helps.
