What Causes Missed Periods And Later Excessive Bleeding?

Hi I missed my period for 3 months and took a lot of pregnancy test saying I'm not Pregnant...I started to have a spot of bleeding this 10th of October and it became heavier and heavier and it's already 2nd of November and I'm still bleeding it's really unusual cause my period wI'll only last like maximum of 6 or u days...my husband is so worried about it ..I'm 26 and never have a kid...I don't even take pregnancy pills or whatsoever cause we wanted to have a kids now this situation bothers me...thanks

Brie..e .Mostly the cause of missed and heavy bleeding can be hormonal disbalance..
Detail...As there can be different causes in different age,but in young ladies most common cause of irregular and heavy bleeding is hormonal disbalance.For this you should get checked estrogen and progesterone blood level.
To rule out other causes for example,dysfunction of the ovaries,uterine mass (fibroid),polyp(small benign growth on uterus),Adenomyosis (abnormal endometrial glands),You should get Ultrasound per vaginum done. Go for simple investigations first ,and discuss with Gynaecologist,if you need laproscopy?
