What Causes Mild Pressure And Pain In Abdomen Along With Bloating?

I was admitted to the ER because of severe pain in my lower left side. I had my uterus removed in 2007 because of severe menstrual cramps and pain but retained my ovaries. During an ultrasound, a dominant follicle or cyst was seen. I have been experiencing slight pressure associated with some pain and I feel like I have gas, or I need to void both ways; sometimes I have a numbness in my left leg. I am curious to know if there is anything I need to worry about. I have always had breast lumps, which were benign, ever since I was 13 years old and now I am 47.

Hello and welcome.

The pain in your leg could be due to the hysterectomy you had in the past causing either nerve entrapment or somw amount of damage to some blood vessel.

You may be experiencing hormonal imbalances, especially after the hysterectomy which can trigger gastric symptoms like abdominal bloating, heartburn, etc. Speak to your doctor about the same and initiate hormonal supplements or antacids like pantoprazole, omeprazole, etc; for relief.

Best wishes.
