Hi doctor ,my wife is pregnant of 8wk ,it s first pregnancy..she complaining of occasional mild pain abdominal ,not regular ,May be in any position but more on sitting position..she visited to lady gynecologist ...she done all routine examination ,routine blood and urine test and usg for fetal condition..all reports r all right ,baby ok ..she advised hcg injection for this pain, I asked about this injection she replied there is chance of abortion due to pain so this injection prevent from abortion n pain..advised 1 injection weekly for 3 wk..is this treatment is right,is this is first line treatment or hv other best option..no history of abortion or pv bleeding..no thyroid or diabetes disorder..menses r regular..I consult to other gyno she said there is orall medicine progesterone for pain n to prevent abortion, no need of hcg ..I need ur guide n help..kindly suggest me best advice n treatment n follow plan..is there any complications on taking this injection,she took her first dose..what should I do ..I m worried about treatment
