Hi Dear,

Understanding your concern.

These are typical symptoms of temporomandibular joint dysorder (TMJ) . There can be many reasons for TMj dysfunction like bruxism that is Grinding or clenching your teeth specially at night . That is why you are having thses symptoms in the morning .

There can be many reasons for clenching of tetth at night like :-

- stress ans anxiety , which is the most common factor for bruxism .

- Misalignment of teeth .

- Impacted wisdom teeth .

- Other sleep problems, such as sleep apnea.

I would suggest you to consult dentist and first of all get the customize night guard to prevent attrition of teeth .

The doctor will examine physically and rule out causes like ear infection or acid reflux disease .

If he/she find the cause to be related with stress ,anxiety or sleep then he/she will refer you to psychiatrist . If it is the case of misalignment the he/she will refer you to orthodontist for alignment of teeth .

Doctor may also prescribe myscle relaxant like orthodox -MR .

Keep yourself free from any stress .

Start physical therapy of facial muscle .

Take ibuprofen or acetaminophen for pain.

Hope your concern has been resolved.
