I HAVE HAD A PAIN IN THE CENTER OF MY BACK THAT HAS WORSENED IN THE LAST COUPLE OF DAYS, IT KIND OF HURTS TO BREATH, AND DEFINITELY HURTS MOVE TWIST OR EVEN PICK UP MY PURSE. I HAVE SCOLIOSIS IN THE LOWER BACK, BUT NOT PAIN THERE. I AM GETTING REALLY CONCERNED. IT IS ALSO GIVING ME MILD NASEA SENSATION.
Understanding your concern. As per your query you are suffering from symptoms middle back pain while breathing . The symptoms you mention in query are pointing towards a condition known as upper respiratory track infection like sore throat or pharyngitis . Sometimes when infection is left untreated then it will spread to surroundings and may infect larynx . Apply warm compresses om back and neck. I would suggest you to consult ENT specialist without any delay so that infection can not spread to entire respiratory track . Doctor may order throat swab test , viral culture test , blood test and CT scan to rule out condition like acidic reflux and sinusitis . Doctor may prescribe antibiotics like amoxicillin or antiviral like acyclovir for at least a week . Doctor may also refer you to chest specialist . For now do warm saline gargles and take steam twice a day to relieve the congestion. Doctor may also recommend deep breathing exercises .
