What Causes Metallic Taste From Throat?

I am suffering from a nasty metalic taste that comes from my throat. I also feel like a burning sensation and a sour stomach. Because of this, I have been taking Zantac for two days and I occasionally take Tums as needed. I noticed that my stool is very loose and pale. What can this be?

Thanks for your query, I have gone through your query.
The metallic taste can be secondary to the gastritis or it can be secondary to use of certain drugs like metronidazole, iron supplements. The burning sensation in the stomach can be because of the gastritis. Nothing to be panic, consult a general physician or a gastroenterologist and get it evaluated. You can take antacids.
I hope my answer will help you, take care.
