Hi, Ok so this is embarrassing but thank you for your help. Since my early 40s (I m 45 now) I ve noticed a very strong almost metallic odor to my menstruation. During the rest of the month everything is fine. I have yearly pap tests and most recently a colposcopy and everything was fine. I used to be able to have sex during the last two days when the flow is less but now I won t even go near my boyfriend while on my period. I ve read so many posts from women complaining about this problem. Most of them had left a tampon in but that s not the case with me. Any ideas? Thank you.
