What Causes Menstrual Bleeding With Long Duration?
My periods usually last 3-4 days. This time around it's going on 6 days but it's not heavy bleeding. It's just not a normal thing for them to be this long and it started a couple days earlier than it should have. I can normally time it to the day. I just finished a cleanse with my colon, but I didn't think that was a related issue. Any suggestions?

prolonged menstrual bleeding, or menorrhagia, is defined as bleeding that goes beyond a week. Depending on the circumstances, long menstruation may be a condition that can be easily controlled with birth control hormones or one that indicates a serious underlying health issue.
