What Causes Lump On Thigh, Inner Thigh And Groin Pain?

i went to ER today, was there for 4 hours, i had inner thigh/groin pain last night, and this moring it spread to inner knee/calf. i called doctor and they said to go to ER as it could be clots(DVT). well, after sonogram and 4 hr s at ER, nothing, they say probably strained muscle. after being home i noticed if leg is extended, not only dos it hurt the areas specified, but now a lump pops out in front of thigh and seems to be origin of pain(maybe lump is on a nerve casuing pain down leg) should i go back to ER, or just Rest/stretch/heat/ice?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

As per my clinical experience, provided deep vein thrombosis is ruled out thoroughly, lump on thigh and groin area may be of concern with inflammatory lesion. Before approaching an ER, I would request you to use personal consultation on this website and upload a high resolution photo pic of the lump region and consult me again during next follow up chat box.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
