What Causes Lump On Left Knee While Suffering From Arthritis?
I noticed a lump on the outside of my left knee. It is tender to the touch like a bruise and it is slightly warm. It almost looks like a bruise, but I do not think I suffered any trauma to it. I am 44 yrs, 5 6 , 299lbs, I was recently diagnosed with arthritis in my right knee (level 3) and have a torn meniscus in it too. My left knee has recently started bothering me also. I was on my feet for a few hours this morning cleaning out my garage. Could it just be I overdid it this morning?

I really appreciate your concern, such swelling could be formation of abscess and it need to be kept under observation because if this is the abscess then it may need draining of pus, till then anti-inflammatory drugs can be tired, and best would be "Tab Ibuprofen 400 mg" three times in day, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
