THERE IS A SMALL KNOT ON THE BACK OF MY NECK. JUST BELOW MY SKULL JUST TO THE SIDE OF MY SPINAL COLUMN... I HAVE NECK AND HEAD ACHES THAT ASSOCIATE WITH THIS. I HAVE BEEN TO THE DR. AND HE SAYS INFLAMED BONE. BUT THIS HAS BEEN OVER A YEAR NOW. WHAT COULD IT BE?

Well come to HCM
The lesion seems chronic one, if this is really painful and have changed within this year then this need to be brought to investigations, because this could be some infective lesion or may be lipoma there are several differential diagnosis one need to go through, hope this information helps, take care.
