What Causes Lower Right Abdominal Pain With Frequent Constipation?

I am going to see my doctor next week. I get small pains and aches in my lower right side. I suffer from frequent constipation where I go to the bathroom once a day or none at all. So the aching in my side gets worse and more noticeable. However when I take pills to help my bowel movements, and I start using the bathroom two or three times a day, the pain is gone. I want to know what exactly is going on and what should I ask my doctor to do about it.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
From history it seems that there might be having incomplete evacuation due to deposition of flebolith i.e. hard fecal material not coming out with bowel movement resulting lower abdominal pain.
As pain is on right lower abdomen, chronic appendicitis pain should be ruled out.
A soap water enema will be helpful to remove fecolith.
Take plenty of water and have more fiber containing diet.
Ok and take care.
I find this answer helpful
