General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Leg pain and cramps often occur as a result of nerve damage in diabetes. The most important thing is to control blood sugar. Healthy lifestyle going for short, frequent walks using a stationary bike to increase blood flow, soaking your legs in a warm bath, using a bed cradle at night to protect your legs from discomfort caused by bedding.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Blerina Pasho, General & Family Physician
