What Causes Lower Back Pain During 40th Week Of Pregnancy?
I am 40 weeks pregnant today and I am having really bad buttock pain and pressure and lower back pain. I have somewhat of menstrual cramp feeling in front is this a sign that i am going into labor? This is my first pregnancy and not sure what contractions feel like. Thank you
Thanks for writing to Health Care magic, I am Dr , Muhammad Ahmad , I have read your question closely, I understand your concern and will be helping you with your health related problem.
This might well be start of labor , different mothers have different description of this feeling but usually the most common thing in all is feeling of cramps and pressure in the pelvis, with opening and dilation of cervix.
I would suggest you to contact your doctor immediately and get his opinion about that, if you can not contact your doctor as yet, just visit a nearby Gynae obs emergency facility to get yourself evaluated.
I hope this answered your question, If you have more queries I am happy to answer you. Regards.
Dr.Muhammad Ahmad
