Hi
Thanks for posting your query on HCM
Lower back/abdominal pain/cramps in early pregnancy is normal but should be mild not be severe as severe pain reveals serious medical conditions.Abdominal pain/cramps in early pregnancy could be caused by problems linked to the pregnacy/uterus, ovaries, urinary tree or digestive disorders
-Problems linked to the pregnancy may include: implantation of the pregnancy,
round ligament pain,
threatened abortion or ectopic pregnancy
-Ovarian problems may include torsion of an ovarian cyst in women known to have ovarian cyst
-Urinary problems may include: a
urinary tract infection, nephritic colic
-Digestive problems may include:
Inflammatory bowel disease,
Diverticulitis, sigmoiditis, digestive bacterial/parasitic infections...
With all these possible causes, only a keen history of the problem with clinical evaluation by an expert can point out the exact cause.I suggest you meet you Gynecologist for evaluation given the fact that you had the pregnancy through IUI.A pelvic altrsound with other blood test will help.
Hope my answer will help you
Best regards
