What Causes Lower Back Pain And Shortness Of Breath?

hello. I am having lower back pain and along with it ...shortness of breathe. I cannot take a full deep breathe without causing my lower back to hurt. I might have slept on it wrong. It went away this afternoon but is back in a major way right now. Do you have any suggestions on what it could be?

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have lower back pain and shortness of breath . Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like heart rhythm disorder , dehydration , anemia , disc problem , muscle spasm , medication reaction or side-effect , tachycardia or congestive heart failure . I would suggest you to consult general practitioner for proper examination . Doctor may take history , check vitals and order certain test like ECG . Doctor may also ask if you start taking new medicine , to rule out side effects of a medicine . Apply warm compresses on back . Doctor may also refer you to orthopedic surgeon for back problem.Doctor may refer you to cardiologist ,who may order troponin t test to confirm the condition like angina . For now stay calm , take ibuprofen or acetaminophen for pain and apply warm compresses on back .
