What Causes Lower Abdominal Pain In A 58-year-old Woman?

I have pain in my lower abdomen off and on for 2 days. Feels like menstrual cramps almost, but it s not. I am a 58 year old woman. Had similar pain about 8 months ago, had vaginal ultrasound and docs found nothing. It s a dull pain, and it woke me up. Wondering if I should to go to emergency room now or wait till morning. No fever.
