What Causes Lower Abdominal Pain And A Skin Rash On The Back?

Hi, my name is Christina and I m 19 years old. Last night I was at the ER because I had symptoms similar to appendicitis. After blood, urine, and CT testing, they found nothing wrong with me and discharged me. I still have lower abdominal pain and now have a light skin rash on my back. I also have white vaginal discharge that started about a week ago that I treated as a yeast infection and has been getting better so I didn t think it was connected but I m no longer sure. Also was checked for pregnancy and that came up negative so I m at a loss.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

As a first line management, you can take analgesics like paracetamol or aceclofenac for pain relief.

If symptoms persist better to consult a general surgeon and plan for an ultrasound scan.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
