What Causes Low Grade Fever, Red Palms And Fatigue?

Hello. I have dealing with a low grade fever, red palms, extreme tiredness for over a 6 weeks. I did have a lump in my throat too, which I thought were all related. Come t find out, I have a blocked saliva gland that needs removal. Surgeon said, your red palms, tiredness and fever are not related. When I looked up red hands, it didn t say anything good, so I stopped looking, but Im concerned about low grade fever as well. What do you suggest

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Low grade fever is due to blocked salivary glands (Sialadenitis) that you have left untreated. Fever, pain, swelling are all its symptoms & may lead to malnutrition (due to difficulty in swallowing) and immunosuppression & fatigue.

Red palms are indicative of hormonal imbalance, thyroid issues or developing RA.

You are suggested to get Sialadenitis treated at the earliest. If it requires surgery, get it done so that you get rid of the discomfort that you have at present.

Get a thorough medical health check up done to rule out any diseased condition that nay cause redness of the palms. Your treatment will depend upon the pathology detected.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care
