What Causes Low BP Along With Dizziness And Fatigue?

Two weeks before replacement of my first pacemaker my blood pressure was realy low (85/50) and I was dizzy and tired almost all the time. After a new pacemaker was installed all symptoms were gone. Now BP is around 125/80. Is bradycardia causing low blood prssure? My pacemaker was set at 60 per minute.

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Bradycardia can decrease the amount of blood pumped by the heart. In many patients, low heart rates leads to hypotension and dizziness. There are many other reasons also lead to hypotension, such as weak heart muscles, internal bleeding, dehydration etc.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
