What Causes Loss Of Clitoral Sensation?

I have never had any issues stimulating or having my clitoris stimulated. I really enjoyed the orgasms I had during clitoris stimulation. About 5 months ago my clitoris lost the feeling of stimulation. I can feel when touching it, just no sexual stimulation. No arousal. It s so annoying or frustrating. I m not sure why it happened. But I do ride a bike everyday. When I am riding and hit bumps, it does hurt my clitoris along with the rest of my vagina. Could that be the issue? Or could it be this. I do know that it comes from brain waves being stimulated as well. And my boyfriend, as punishment, stopped touching me in the area and stopped oral sex as well. That is very frustrating. I really miss oral sex. Could that be the reason? I need help. Am I broken?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Clitoris sensation can get lost due to infrequent use or change in hormones. Psychological factors(depression, relationshop problems, etc), physical abuse, emotional factors & stressful conditions may also cause such symptoms.

Diabetes, antidepressant drugs & certain addictions may also cause loss of sensation or even atrophy of the clitoris.

You are suggested to talk to your BF about it. Relationship problems should be fixed at the earliest, you can take the help of a Counselor or Psychiatrist.

Do exercises, cardio exercises helps to boost blood flow throughout the body. Hormone treatment may help.

Yes, you are broken but try fixing the problem with your BF. It is difficult to carry on with emotional hurts as it is affecting you phychologically as well as physically.

Hope I have answered your queries. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
