What Causes Loss Of Appetite And Gastritis?

For the last few days, I ve had some tenderness just at the bottom of the left ribcage. It began with what I thought to be gas pains and a lack of appetite. I m better now but still this area of pain persists to touch. Curious to know what this may be and what I can do to get back to normal. YYYY@YYYY

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Thanks for writing to Health Care magic, I am Dr , Muhammad Ahmad , I have read your question closely, I understand your concern and will be helping you with your health related problem.
Tenderness at the place your described is usually inflammation of the ribs called as costochondritis, this can happen due to any pressure at that place or exertion or sleeping on your side at a bad angle, this gets better itself with time as has happened in your case. There is nothing to worry about. Stomach and gas pains are not usually tender this sounds like rib issue. And as this has got better so there is nothing to worry about.

I hope this answered your question, If you have more queries I am happy to answer you.
Regards.

Dr.Muhammad Ahmad
