What Causes Loose Saggy Skin Around The Testicles?

Hi, I have loose saggy skin around my testicles and the skin takes the strain from the weight of my testicles, this does not cause pain or discomfort however it is a noticble annoyance and as such i try to constantly hold my testicles or place a pillow underneath to offer them support. Is there any excercise I could do to tone this area or is surgery an option? Jordan

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

It may be due to you having varicocele. Varicocele may cause your scrotum to move away from your body as your body temperature rises and hang with your sac seeking a cooler environment.

Get yourself physically examined by a surgeon to detect if it is varicocele. Varicocele left neglected may cause testicle shrinkage, hormonal imbalances or infertility problems later in life.

Treatment is surgery, which type of surgery will be the best for you will be decided by your treating surgeon & will depend upon the severity of your condition.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Nupur K, General & Family Physician
