What Causes Loose Motion In An Infant After Having Food?

hello, my baby is now 10 months old and he was having chest congestion we had take to doctor and he had prescribed antibiotic medicine but after that he started vomiting then the dr. had told to give motelium now he is having loose motion after having any food or milk. please tell me what to do as my child weight is also less around 6.7kg

Hi,
According to me certain antibiotics have diarrhoea as side effects , hence that could be a cause as well. If the kid had a congestion , he will vomit to bring out the phelm.
If the diarrhoea is mild, meaning just around 4 to 5 times then you can wait . Please do keep the kid hydrated by giving ORS.
Avoid giving milk to the kid for a couple of days.
If by 2-3 days the kids d is not doing well, or is getting tiered, or not passing adequate urine then please get back to your doctor.
