Hi!! methotrexate is a commomly used medicine for rheumatoid and psoriatic arthritis and it has many side effects. The most common being nausea and loose motions. It doesnt cause urinary problems in the dose given to her if her kidney functions are normal although any kind of infection can occur in patients on methotrexate as it decreases the white cell count but the dose given to your mother is not high to cause urinary infections.
