What Causes Light Vaginal Bleeding After Taking Unwanted-72?

hi,my period date is 8june on d same day i took unwanted 72 i gt bleeding spot in evening of 8 june bt there is no more flow on today n yesterday,what does this mean,i gt periods or it is nrml bleeding cz of medicine,when i wl get proper flow,plz help

I have gone through your query and can understand your concern...
The bleeding you had must be breakthrough bleeding due to intake of unwanted 72. This type of bleeding occur normally with in 3 weeks of emergency pill intake.
The Irregular & delayed periods are due to high dose of levonorgestrel contained in unwanted 72 pill. So your period can be delayed for 1 or more cycle. This is known side effect of this pill.
Use condom or regular contraceptive pill as method of conception in future. Take unwanted 72 pill just incase of emergency. Taking more emergency contraceptive pills can cause problems like irregular periods, ovarian hyper-stimulation syndrome & even infertility.

If you didnt get your period even delayed by a month Do a pregnancy test & consult a gynaecologist.
