What Causes Light Periods?

So, i have had an abnormal period for the past 2 years, that s nothing new. I missed my period last month so i didn t panic, or get my hopes up as my husband and i are trying to get pregnant. I just assumed it would come this month, like i said, not the first time it s happened. This month, though, I starting bleeding a week ago, figured that was it, used a tampon and took and iron pill as i get anemic during my period. The next day, it was done. Assumed i would get it this week. Thursday night, same thing. It started, i took an iron pill and it stopped by the next day. Is this something to be concerned about? Could i be pregnant?
