What Causes Light Headedness, Nausea And Vomiting With Pain In Ankle After A Fall?

After falling off a curb, I hurt my ankle. I got up immediately feeling fine and walked it off for a few seconds, after I sat down, I started getting light headed and ended up feeling nauseous and throwing up. AFter throwing up, I feel fine but my ankle still hurts. Why did I feel light headed and sick?

Hi, I had gone through your query and understood your concerns.

After falling, even though normal, for the nauseating and light headed feeling Please check for any head injury internally by consulting a local physician.
If no injury, then you need not worry everything sets in no time.
Coming to Ankle, get an X-ray done for any hairline fractures or ligament tear. Any way rest is mandatory for about 6 weeks in fracture, for ligament involvement long term rest for around 6 months with use of ankle binder is useful.

Hope this guides you.
Thank you.
