What Causes Left-sided Shoulder And Neck Pain After Treating Shoulder Bursa Fracture?
I was diagnosed several years ago with a partially collapsed bursa in my left shoulder. The option I chose with my ortho doctor was physical therapy. Recently the shoulder and neck muscle up my left side has began to hurt. Might this be a sign that I may have to face a bursectomy?

I really appreciate your concern, as matter of fact this may not be the condition but it may be just the muscular condition which may not need any surgery, but it is better to keep continue the physiotherapy, else for better diagnosis it may needs some investigations, till then you can continue the physiotherapy, hope this information helps.
