What Causes Leather Look On Scrotum After Applying Lotrimin Spray?

My husband has been treating himself for yeast infection with no results He went to our dr. This week, and she Said yes it is a yeast infection. She prescribed. Lotrimin spray, 2%. I have sprayed it all over his sack and penis once a Day after a shower, pat dry, apply spray. Anyway I looked at him tonight and his scrotum sack is completely like a hard leather overlay of the whole sack. What the heck is going on, I mean it s like heavy leather. Please advise. Thank you.

having chemical alterations inside the container
- Severe allergic reaction with extensive rashes turning into heavy leather
